Working within a high-performing production team, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality steak products to catering customers while maintaining strict yield and presentation standards.
What’s in it for you
£16 per hour starting rate (Approx. £35,000 – £37,000 per annum)
Overtime paid at time and a half
Stable, full-time opportunity, 3am start approx. 9 hour shifts, 5 day working week

Working in a fast-paced production-led butchery environment your responsibilities as a Skilled Steak Butcher will include:
Cutting, trimming, and portioning steak products to precise customer specifications
Working with both bone-in and boneless cuts
Maintaining high levels of yield while minimising waste
Ensuring consistent quality and presentation standards
Carrying out stock rotation and safe product handling
Working collaboratively within a busy production team - Non-customer-facing role
Following all food hygiene and safety procedures
What we’re looking for in a Skilled Steak Butcher
Proven butchery experience with strong steak cutting ability
Food Hygiene Level 2 certificate
Excellent knife handling skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to work to tight specifications and yield targets
Ability to work at pace without compromising quality
Basic English communication skills
Desirable experience
Background in catering or wholesale butchery
Experience within high-volume production environments
