The Role
You will be responsible for maintaining and installing electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the factory floor. This includes supporting equipment such as conveyors, labelers, scales, and process machinery. Your duties will involve conducting routine inspections, performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and responding promptly to equipment breakdowns. You will diagnose faults and provide effective, lasting repairs. Working closely with all departments, you will help minimize downtime, manage crucial engineering documentation, and ensure smooth shift handovers while strictly complying with Food, Health & Safety standards. Additionally, you will efficiently adjust machinery and carry out changeovers as required.
What We're Looking For
* Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems.
* Electrical qualification, with knowledge of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations considered an advantage.
* Experience with process plants, fillers, packaging machinery, and factory environments is desirable.
* Familiarity with HMI systems is a plus.
* A proactive, detail-focused mindset coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
