Forklift Driver (12-Tonne Capacity)
A leading national equipment hire provider is looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join its busy operations team. This organisation supplies heavy-duty machinery and industrial equipment to construction, infrastructure, and engineering projects across the UK, and prides itself on safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service.
The Role
Youll be operating a 12-tonne capacity forklift, supporting the smooth running of the depot by ensuring all incoming and outgoing equipment is handled safely and efficiently. Daily responsibilities include:
* Loading & unloading lorries and heavy goods
* Operating a 12-tonne forklift in a busy yard environment
* Logging deliveries, collections, and stock movements
* Completing administration to maintain accurate records
* Working closely with the depot and transport teams to keep operations running smoothly
What Youll Need
1. Valid forklift licence suitable for heavy-capacity machines
2. Experience operating large forklifts (1012 tonne preferred)
3. Strong attention to detail for admin and stock logging
4. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced yard environment
