This is a great opportunity to join the East Riding of Yorkshire Council at our Carnaby Depot as a workshop shift supervisor, working alternative shift patterns of 37 hours over 5 days, to be discussed at interview.
Fleet Services and Vehicle Maintenance Unit are an integral part of an award winning and successful council and are looking for a highly skilled and experienced vehicle technician with previous shift supervisor or workshop controller experience to join our team at the Carnaby depot as a full-time shift supervisor, to help us keep up with the demands of maintaining the councils diverse and varied fleet.
Applications must have experience of working within a vehicle maintenance workshop, have good communications skill, be able to work under pressure, have good people management skills and be able to prioritise workloads and general day to day running of a busy workshop. Duties also include pre planned maintenance, diagnosing and repairing anything from LGV’s to plant equipment.
