This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to develop within a fast-paced, challenging, and rewarding aviation environment where talent is recognised and progression is encouraged.ResponsibilitiesSupervise day-to-day activities of Stores shift operators to ensure effective outputPlan and manage resource availability to meet operational workload demandsAccurately receipt and process incoming aircraft parts onto AMOSIssue aircraft parts from the Stores counter efficientlyMaintain high standards of health & safety and enforce compliance across the teamEnsure the safety, security and integrity of all assets within the Stores facilityAccurately input and manage data within the Stores systemMaintain integrity of aircraft components, including labelling and packagingProcess US returns and manage associated documentationRaise and place orders with contractors for aircraft partsManage stock control and inventory levelsAccount for serviceable spares following maintenance activitySupport continuous improvement and undertake additional duties as required by the Line ManagerPerson SpecificationEssential:Proficiency in IT systems including Outlook, Word and ExcelExperience within an aviation stores or similar environmentStrong understanding of health & safety practices, including manual handlingExcellent attention to detail with a consistent and accurate approachStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProven team leadership experience, including mentoring and managing staffDesirable:Knowledge of COSHH and chemical handlingDangerous Goods by Air Certificate (valid or recently expired within 30 days)BenefitsCompetitive salaryCareer progression opportunities within a growing aviation businessExposure to a dynamic and fast-paced operational environmentOngoing training and developmentApply TodayIf youre a driven Stores professional ready to take the next step into a leadership role, we want to hear from you.
