The Water Utilities Division is our centre of excellence for water and wastewater delivery, supporting our global teams and engaging in diverse, technically challenging projects. Our Pipelines and Networks team addresses issues related to climate change, aging infrastructure, and population growth by designing water supply networks and major pipeline transfers, and implementing flood alleviation and pollution control systems.
As part of our UK-wide modelling team, you will work on various water frameworks across the UK and internationally, collaborating with senior and principal modellers. Your responsibilities will include model building (1D and 2D), calibration, verification, flood risk assessment, resilience planning, and mitigation solution analysis, utilizing industry-standard hydraulic modelling software, GIS, and coding. You will also prepare reports and present findings to clients.

Candidate Specification
We seek motivated graduates with a passion for making a difference. To qualify, you should have:
* Less than 12 months of relevant experience (excluding placements)
* A degree obtained no earlier than 2023 in one of the following disciplines:
* Geography
* Hydrology and Water Management
* Water and Environmental Engineering
* Environmental Science
* Civil Engineering
* Mathematics
Applicants should demonstrate interest through relevant modules or experience. Key qualities include:
* Methodical problem-solving skills
* Initiative and independence
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
