We are currently looking for a motivated and capable Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our leading and highly regarded team based in Reading.
You will assist senior members of the team on complex, high-value claims involving cerebral palsy, birth injury, cauda equina syndrome and other serious conditions, while also managing your own caseload of claimant clinical negligence matters independently. Your cases will typically be valued at £50,000 and above and involve a wide range of medical treatment issues.
We currently operate a hybrid working pattern. The successful candidate will be expected to attend our Reading office a minimum of 2 days per week, with the remainder of the week worked remotely.
Experience/ Attributes required
* 2–5 years’ PQE with a strong background in Clinical Negligence
* Trained and worked at a firm known for high-quality Clinical Negligence work
* Able to manage a range of lower-to-mid-value cases independently
* Experience or interest in cerebral palsy claims and quantum work is desirable
* Strong technical skills and attention to detail
* Confident communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Methodical, organised and proactive approach to case management
* Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in contributing to business development

* Engaging with medical experts and counsel to develop evidence on liability and quantum
