Applications are welcome for the permanent Respiratory Consultant post within the department of Respiratory Medicine based at Inverclyde Royal Hospital (IRH). The Respiratory department is closely linked to the wider Respiratory team based across the Clyde Sector (including The Royal Alexandra and The Vale of Leven Hospitals). In total the team comprises 9.5 WTE Consultants across the Clyde Sector. The Clyde Sector team provides a general Respiratory Service as well as access to a number of sub‑specialties including medical thoracoscopy, severe asthma, interstitial and pleural disease.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and dedicated team at IRH and to steer and influence the future design and direction of the service. This is a 10 programmed activity (10 PA) Consultant post. There is a degree of flexibility in this role in relation to specialist interests, including clinicians who are seeking to integrate academic or research opportunities within the PA sessions.
