Mid Yorkshire Teaching NHS Trust offers a 12‑month Clinical Fellowship in Paediatrics for doctors at ST6/ST7 level (or equivalent) who wish to further their clinical and professional skills outside a formal training programme. The fellowship combines hands‑on clinical experience with personal and professional development, including exposure to subspecialty areas, education, leadership and quality improvement initiatives.
The post is based primarily at Pinderfields Hospital (Wakefield) and Dewsbury Hospital, with all medical staff contributing to care across the Trust’s sites. Fellows may apply for part‑time arrangements. The role is not part of a recognised UK training programme, but structured support, supervision and a range of educational opportunities will be provided.
The Trust reserves the right to close this vacancy early should a significant number of applications be received. Applicants are therefore encouraged to submit their application promptly.
