Why are we recruiting? PayPoint provides multi channel digital payments solutions for a wide range of clients in the energy, water, local authority housing and charity sectors. These allow those clients to manage payments from their customers in an efficient and seamless way. We are constantly adding new functions and expanding the client sectors. We are now looking for a Developer to join the MultiPay IT team responsible for these fantastic solutions What will you be doing? You will be joining an established and growing team who are developing new solutions in line with a challenging and exciting roadmap migrating existing solutions to a full cloud solution moving to a full DevOps model and you will be part of all these. You will work across the entire software stack from server side to front end development and design develop clean code according to SOLID principles following the solution architecture be committed to all aspects of quality from the start of every development find ways of delivering to challenging deadlines actively participate in driving continuous improvement within the team lead on new skills and technology as required communicate well to both technical and non-technical audiences demonstrate a can do and pragmatic approach to overcoming obstacles be a team player, taking people with you when there are different tensions in play What is essential for the role? Experience of .NET Core .NET Framework (version 4.6) and C# (version 6) Web Development (HTML, CSS & SaSS, JavaScript & Jquery) Unit Test Framework (NUnit) JavaScript frameworks (e.g. AngularJS, KnockoutJS) Front-end frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap) Blazor Web Framework React Azure DevOps & DevOps working patterns API Manager, Kubernetes, Containers Service bus and messaging patterns like cqrs would be an advantage It would be great if you had Experience of Postman/SOAP Selenium Cypress Splunk And knowledge of the payments industry a real bonus.
