An engineering consultancy highly experienced in the specification, design, construction, and management of all engineering services associated with the built environment. The consultancy works across various sectors including residential, healthcare, education, industrial, MoD, and leisure.
Role
1. Ensure understanding of project briefs and design/specify all Electrical Building Services systems.
2. Design and specify electrical systems such as power, earthing, lighting, life safety, telecoms, security, access control, lifts, lightning protection, etc.
3. Carry out and manage detailed calculations using industry-standard software including Excel, Dialux, Amtech, and in-house tools.
4. Represent the organization at meetings with clients and contractors.
5. Conduct site surveys, inspections, and monitor site works.
6. Prepare reports and technical notes.
7. Maintain complete records and archives according to company standards.
8. Adhere to all quality, environmental, and governance processes.
Qualifications/Experience
* Degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
* Experience in a design consultancy or similar environment.
* Knowledge of electrical design within the built environment.
* Strong report writing skills and experience presenting to clients.
* In-depth knowledge of technical standards and ability to manage project deliverables independently.
* Proficiency in digital tools such as Amtech, Relux, Microsoft Office, and CAD.
