The opportunity
A well-established accountancy practice near Gatwick is looking to appoint a Senior Tax Manager into its advisory-focused tax team. The role is corporate-led and centres on advising SMEs and owner-managed businesses, combining corporation tax compliance with higher-value planning and advisory work.
The role
You’ll manage a portfolio of corporate clients and provide tax advice across the full business lifecycle, balancing technical delivery with strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing and reviewing corporation tax returns
Advising on restructures, profit extraction and tax planning
Supporting MBOs, EMI schemes and business growth projects
Advising business owners on remuneration, succession, CGT and IHT
Collaborating with audit and business services teamsManaging and developing junior team members
About you
You’ll be CTA qualified or ACA/ATT qualified with strong corporate tax advisory experience. You’ll be confident advising owner-managed businesses and managing client relationships independently.
Experience with restructuring, EMI schemes and OMB planning would be beneficial.
