We are seeking a dedicated and passionate KS2 Teacher for a good-rated, 2-form entry school located in Lambeth, starting after the February half term 2025. This is a full-time position. The school offers a supportive environment with a strong ethos of inclusion and community. Interviews will be held as soon as possible.


KS2 Teacher Role

KS2 Teacher Responsibilities

* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of KS2 students.
* Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting clear targets for development.
* Encourage students to take responsibility for their learning and develop their critical thinking skills.
* Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and deliver a high standard of education.
* Maintain open communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns.
* Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities as required.


KS2 Teacher Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
* Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective assessment methods.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt teaching to meet the diverse needs of learners.
* A team-oriented approach and a passion for creating an inclusive learning environment.
* Commitment to continuous professional development and best practices in teaching.
