Our client is a market leader in the Electronic Manufacturing sector. A sustained period for growth is the reason they are looking to recruit an Electronic Test Engineer.
The Role
1. Test interface to customer both internal and external within the company.
2. Provide the technical interface between the customer and manufacturing for test related matters.
3. Maintain in circuit test, flying probe in circuit test and functional test fixtures and programs.
4. Liaise with involved individuals to define, develop and improve test solutions coordinating the purchase of external test solutions when appropriate.
5. Support the Quality in test improvement solutions for continual improvement activities to help achieve the business KPIs.
6. Ability to analyse technical problems and complete detailed reports.
7. Support the calibration scheme, ensuring test fixtures are calibrated on time maintaining the asset system records and audit compliance requirements.
8. Lead new product introduction test activities.
9. Support Electronic Technicians (kit acquisition, circuit diagrams, test coverage, etc.).
10. Assist in the early identification of potential situations that may give rise to early product failure or deviation from standard parameters.
