Pinnacle—an industry leader in educational space design—is seeking a detail-oriented, proactive individual to support our finance team during our busiest season. You'll play a key role in managing invoicing, chasing payments, and supporting smooth financial operations through the summer. This is a flexible, part-time role (16–20 hours/week) through to October 31st, with potential to go permanent. Construction or contract invoicing experience? Even better. About the RoleAbout the Role: Due to the nature of the education sector, many of our clients schedule major fit-out projects during the summer holidays, where we work for schools and for construction companies. This results in a significant increase in invoicing and data processing during this period. While full training will be provided, we are seeking a candidate with prior experience who can quickly adapt and contribute effectively from the outset. Depending on workloads, there may be opportunity to assist Accounts Payable. There is a possibility that this position could become permanent. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out credit checks Reviewing payment terms on new customers, and preparing invoicing schedules Invoicing deposits and stage payments Raising invoices to match payment certificates on construction contracts Sending statements Chasing payments by phone and email Liaising closely with the commercial department on construction debts and any disputes Logging payments received Assisting in producing robust policies around invoicing and debt collection, that are currently in development Benefits22 days holiday pro rata Company Events Requirements Essential Skills and Experience: Experience of debts in the construction industry is a distinct advantage Relevant accounts receivable experience High levels of accuracy and attention to detail Process driven Collaborative, maintaining excellent relationships
