DoorCo is recruiting a Production Administrator who will be a key support within the production and purchasing teams. The successful candidate will be working closely with their teams to enable the smooth and efficient running of daily manufacturing operations. This role involves ensuring systems are up to date, coordinating production paperwork, managing documentation, and assisting in communication between departments. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor and respond to email requests from internal departments (Customer Services, Order Processing, Transport, Quality) to support production priorities. Coordinate the administration for next-day despatch requirements, ensuring all orders are ready for timely delivery. Work alongside the Production Planner to schedule and update work orders. Ensure systems are up to date and maintain accurate records of production documentation Assist in general administrative tasks for both the manufacturing and purchasing teams. Once trained create and issue manufacturing pick batches for production teams. Raise and administer reports for production and purchasing as needed from our systems. MEASURES OF SUCCESS/KPIs Excellent time and task management Timely responses to emails Systems updated in a timely manner The ideal candidate ideally will have the following skills: Previous administration experience although training can be offered to the right candidate Attention to detail Competent in using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, outlook) Ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines Confident and clear communicator Self motivated and work on own initiative Eager to learn Successful candidates will be offered: Monday - Friday work pattern (40 hours per week). 31 days annual leave including Statutory Holidays.
