Physiotherapy team lead

Campbeltown
NHS National Services Scotland
€80,000 - €100,000 a year
Posted: 17h ago
Offer description

NHS Scotland is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce and eliminating unlawful discrimination. The aim is for our workforce to be truly representative and for each employee to feel respected and able to give their best. To this end, NHS Scotland welcomes applications from all sections of society.

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Physiotherapist to lead the Physiotherapy service in Kintyre and Islay.

The position will be based in Campbeltown hospital and provide leadership and management to physiotherapists working across the area.

The service operates five days a week and covers two community hospitals (Campbeltown and Islay), community services, outpatient clinics and MSK services.

You will oversee the physiotherapy service, ensuring the highest standards of evidence-based care, and lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

You must have excellent clinical reasoning skills along with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

This is an opportunity to become part of a team which is responsive to the needs of the population and dedicated to providing the best possible care and treatment to the populations of Kintyre, Islay, Gigha and Jura.

Kintyre is a beautiful, windswept peninsula in Argyll and Bute on the west coast of Scotland. With stunning beaches and beautiful countryside, it affords great opportunities for outdoor pursuits. Campbeltown itself is a three-hour drive from central Scotland and has a small airport with daily flights to Glasgow.

The island of Islay, often called the Queen of the Hebrides, is also connected to Glasgow by daily flights.

Like Kintyre it offers beautiful beaches and opportunities for outdoor activities and is also know for its thriving whisky industry.

Remote and rural working provides unique challenges which offer the successful candidate an interesting and dynamic environment to gain a broad range of skills and experience.

Informal enquiries and visits would be welcomed.
