We welcome applicants from all around the UK.

You can expect to be active on several projects and client accounts at any given time. Although the role has a zero emission focus, your work may cover a variety of areas of expertise. You will report to a senior member of our team with day-to-day tasks including:

* Supporting with, or leading, the preparation of bids, fee proposals and project programmes
* Working at both strategic and detailed levels with strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate confidently with clients, stakeholders and team members
* Actively managing and leading efforts to build and maintain collaborative, cooperative, and harmonious working relationships with clients and colleagues. Working as part of a team, sharing knowledge and supporting the growth of the Future Mobility offer in your office, and nationally
* Being present in the office (hybrid working) alongside colleagues and working with colleagues across the UK and overseas
Working closely with our Associates and Directors, and supporting the professional development of our junior staff, you will be an important member of our Future Mobility team. The role presents an excellent opportunity to progress your career and expand your professional horizons.
Your Team
Skills We offer a variety of expertise, approaches and skills to support our public and private sector clients with their futures challenges, in the mobility sector and beyond. Our team works across a range of areas including:

* New modes and services, supporting clients to harness new technologies and business models in transport – from e-scooters and demand responsive transport, to cargo bikes and Mobility as a Service
* Accessibility and inclusion, working to make transport more accessible for all by taking a human centred approach
* Policy and futures, using a range of techniques to horizon scan and build future mobility into new policies and strategies
As a member of our team, you’ll have a chance to develop across a range of subjects and skill areas. The team includes a wide range of specialists. We are town planners, economists, accountants, behavioural scientists, and transport planners, with an extensive portfolio of multi-disciplinary and cross-sector projects for a range of clients in the UK and abroad.

* Able to develop bespoke approaches to support individual projects or solving specific challenges
* Able to understand key trends for future mobility and those in related sectors
* Comfortable working across a range of subject areas concurrently and able to quickly switch context
* Self-motivated, able to ask questions and challenge us, and willing to go the extra mile to add value
* Excellent at report writing, with the ability to develop concise and impactful reports with attention to detail
