About the Role:
We are currently seeking a professional and reliable Class 1 HGV Driver to join our transport team based in Cairnryan, supporting one of Ireland's premier glass manufacturing companies headquartered in Lurgan, Co. Armagh. This role offers a consistent and structured schedule, primarily involving daily collections of trailers from the ferry terminal at Cairnryan and returns each day.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect and deliver trailer loads of glass products from Cairnryan ferry terminal, connecting to our operations in Armagh.
Ensure timely, safe, and secure handling of all goods.
Perform vehicle safety checks and report any faults or issues promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation in line with company and legal requirements.
Liaise with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
Represent the company professionally when dealing with ferry personnel and other stakeholders.

Requirements:
Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence.
Full Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Proven experience in long-haul or ferry-related haulage preferred but not essential.
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and follow transport schedules efficiently.
Preferred Experience:
Previous experience with cross-channel or ferry-based haulage operations.
Familiarity with transporting fragile or high-value loads (e.g., glass or similar materials).
