Overview-welder
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess strong welding expertise, particularly in TIG & MIG welding, and have experience working with various materials such mild steel, Ally and stainless. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about metalwork and fabrication to develop their skills within a professional environment.
Responsibilities-welder
* Perform TIG and MIG welding on a variety of metals, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during production processes.
* Inspect completed welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to safety standards.
* Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Assist in the repair and modification of existing structures or components as required.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Experience-welder
* Proven experience in TIG and MIG welding, with a strong understanding of welding techniques specific to BS welding standards.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely.
* Ability to interpret weld symbols accurately.
* Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control purposes.
* Previous experience working within a busy fabrication facility preferred but not essential for highly motivated candidates willing to learn.
