The opportunity:
Zurich are looking for someone with strong data and analytical skills to join a fast-paced insurance environment. Since launching a suite of eTrade products we have grown our SME portfolio substantially and we need the right person to turn the data into insight.
Our SME Portfolio Underwriting team is focussed on managing eTraded SME portfolios to ensure continued profitable growth within Zurich. We are expanding the team by recruiting a highly motivated and passionate individual to use their analytical skills to identify trends and deliver insight into our portfolios.
You will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact on the business and by using analytical skills to bring the right insights and opportunities into our SME products. Whatever your experience if you have the right mindset and attitude, we will provide the tools for you to develop and hone your skills.
Key responsibilities:
1. Provide regular insight and analysis, by analysing datasets under the direction of the Portfolio Managers.
2. Work to continuously develop and improve our SME products.
3. Demonstrate increasing knowledge of market developments, distribution channels and our competitive position in relation to SME products.
4. Contribute to a positive, diverse, and supportive team culture.
Your skills and experience:
5. Experience working within an underwriting or claims function.
6. Strong numerical ability and data manipulation skills.
7. Some experience in applying data analysis to gain insight into trends and profitability would be advantageous.
8. Strong communication skills.
