We are seeking a passionate individual who wants to help improve our operations to deliver even more for the environment. As a Business Analyst, you will understand and analyse user and business needs, ensuring outcomes align with service vision and business strategy. You will contribute to linking current and future business models and support the delivery of the business architecture. You will challenge constructively and act as a critical friend to develop fit-for-purpose solutions. Effective collaboration and communication with stakeholders, project teams, technical teams, and other partners will be essential to meet user needs.
The team
The Business Analysis Service primarily works within the Chief Regulator Group, leading and supporting a wide range of critical change initiatives. Our mission is to empower colleagues through insightful analysis, enabling better resource management, decision-making, and sustainable development, ultimately creating better places for people and wildlife.

Experience and skills required
* Analytical thinking: Ability to analyze complex data and processes to identify issues and opportunities.
* Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for conveying findings and recommendations.
* Stakeholder management: Experience managing relationships with various project and stakeholder groups.
* Project delivery: Proven experience in managing and completing projects within structured frameworks.
* Requirements gathering: Skilled in gathering and documenting clear business requirements.
Desirable qualifications
* Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
* Relevant business analysis qualifications.
* Proficiency with analysis tools and methodologies.
* Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
* Familiarity with the Project Delivery Capability Framework.
Additional information
There are three roles available: two permanent and one fixed-term until 30th April 2027. The role offers flexible/hybrid working arrangements, with some travel possibly required.
