This is a permanent, full-time role, working Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 16:00-00:00 with flexibility required during peak periods. The role offers an annual salary up to £33,000.00 depending on skills and experience, plus a shift allowance.
Function
Responsible for managing a designated warehouse area, overseeing processes, people, and stock accuracy. Plans labour and activities for the shift while maintaining a safe, efficient, and positive working environment.
Key tasks:
* Lead staff and workflow in your assigned area
* Ensure safe working practices are followed
* Coach and support team development
* Assist with performance, conduct, and absence management
* Drive continuous improvement and support projects
* Ensure team performance meets key KPIs (accuracy, productivity, service)
* Maintain stock accuracy through counting, investigation, and adjustments
* Work closely with operations to ensure efficient stock flow
* Support internal stakeholders with stock-related queries
Profile
* Leadership experience, ideally in logistics, retail, or e?commerce
* Experienced in managing teams
* Knowledge of WMS (e.g., JDA) and strong Excel skills
* Background in stock control, inventory, production, or quality
* Accurate, quality?focused, and improvement?minded
* Strong communicator who engages and motivates team
* Analytical approach and highly attentive to details
* Automation experience desirable
