Role Focus
This role focuses on analysing, resolving, and improving issues found in customer vehicles within the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) department. Responsibilities include data analysis, stakeholder and supplier management, and technical problem-solving. The goal is to meet quality targets, reduce warranty costs, and enhance customer experience to ensure a modern luxury experience in all vehicles.
What to Expect
In this role, no two tasks are the same. You will work on various projects and build relationships across the business, which will help your career grow within an iconic organization. Key responsibilities include:
* Resolving engineering issues through data analysis and collaboration with Manufacturing, Centres of Competence, Suppliers, Product Investigation (Service), and Dealers.
* Providing quality support and technical guidance across all areas.
* Ensuring seamless program transitions by leading prompt resolution of customer issues in conjunction with the New Model Programme.
* Reviewing and analyzing customer feedback, creating quality projects based on trends, and implementing resolutions and improvements via full 8D process.
What You'll Need
To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Ability to build and manage multiple relationships in complex stakeholder environments.
* Experience with Vehicle Launch or Plant Vehicle operations and Production Management, including problem resolution delivery.
* Effective communication skills at all organizational levels.
* Ability to work reactively and under pressure with rapid issue turnaround.
* Knowledge of JLR processes and methods (e.g., AIMS, WERS, AGILE).
* Proficiency with problem resolution tools and techniques such as 8D & 6 Sigma.
