Hunter Adams is delighted to be supporting our client within the media sector with the permanent higher of a People Advisor to join their busy team.
We’re looking for an Employee Relations Specialist to join the People Operations Team and take ownership of a high-volume caseload of ER matters.
You’ll provide consistent, pragmatic advice and support to managers across the business—ensuring compliance with employment legislation, internal policies, and best practice. Your proactive, preventative approach will help foster a positive and collaborative working environment, resolving concerns before they escalate.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Building trusted, credible relationships with managers across our business to provide specialist ER advice and solutions for complex, high risk or high-profile cases, following through to resolution and tracking advice given in the ER Case Management control document.
2. Supporting and proactively managing sickness absence cases and monitoring trends. Assisting with the identification and resolution of problematic cases and long-term sickness issues, liaising with the Company’s Occupational Health provider where required.
3. Support and advise in case management in grievances, disciplinaries, investigations and performance improvement plans.
