Your responsibilities
The Service Engineer is responsible for carrying out service and maintenance for a broad range of UK wide customers. They will be the face of the company in many instances and as such an important ambassador and customer contact. They will work in a manner that always ensures the health and safety of themselves and their colleagues.
The role may require them to work alone or on occasion to supervise small teams of contract labour.
Whilst the role is very much hands on, the completion of reports, risk assessments and method statements is also a vital part of the role.
The ideal candidate would have a strong mechanical engineering background combined with excellent customer service skills. They would enjoy both working alone and in a team in a wide variety of different industrial environments .
