Contract: Full-Time
Daily Rate: £168.80 - £232.57 (dependent on experience and pay scale)
Are you a passionate and innovative Design and Technology Teacher with an engineering background? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a skilled Teacher of D&T to join a welcoming secondary school in Derby this November.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs to make a real impact, delivering engaging lessons and inspiring pupils across KS3 and KS4 to explore design, technology, and engineering principles.
What We're Looking For:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Design and Technology (engineering focus desirable)
2. Strong subject knowledge across resistant materials, product design, and/or engineering disciplines
3. Ability to deliver creative, high-quality lessons that bring technical concepts to life
4. Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate all learners
5. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
