Senior Supply Chain Planner – Defence & Aerospace

Are you an experienced supply chain professional looking to take on a challenging and rewarding role within the defence and aerospace sector?
We’re supporting a leading global organisation in their search for a Senior Supply Chain Planner to join their team, playing a key role in supporting critical rotorcraft programmes.
This position sits within the Supply Chain Planning & Integration function and will be responsible for managing change tasking from proposal through to delivery — ensuring seamless coordination across procurement, engineering, finance, and programme teams.
What you’ll be doing
* Lead and manage additional tasking and change packages throughout the full lifecycle — from scoping and proposal to execution and delivery.
* Assess supply chain impacts, prepare SOWs/BOEs, and input spares requirements into ERP systems.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with procurement, engineering, finance, and programme management teams to deliver operational excellence.
* Track, analyse, and report on supply chain performance metrics and risks.
* Support programme reviews and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and change initiatives within a complex, regulated environment.
What we’re looking for
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a supply chain or procurement role.
* Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP experience highly desirable).
* Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and commercial teams.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance (SC).
