Murex Support Consultant (Fixed-Term Contract)
Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)
Quanteam UK is currently supporting a key client within the Financial Markets space in hiring a Murex Support Consultant on a fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior to mid-level professional (4–8 years’ experience) to join a dynamic environment and work on critical Murex platforms within a commodities-focused business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day support on the Murex platform within a Financial Markets environment
* Analyse and resolve issues related to trade booking, pricing, and risk
* Support the setup of new products and booking models in Murex
* Work closely with Front Office, Risk, and IT teams to ensure platform stability
* Contribute to both interim fixes and longer-term strategic solutions
* Assist in system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience:
* 4–8 years of experience within Financial Markets (Commodities experience is a strong plus)
* Strong understanding of derivatives and financial instruments (listed & OTC)
* Proven experience working with Murex in a Support role
Solid knowledge of:
* Murex architecture
* Booking models and product setup
* Curve setup and static data configuration (MXG)
* Risk and valuation frameworks
* Ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have:
* Exposure to commodities trading environments
* Experience working in hybrid Front-to-Back Office setups
