Role: Aircraft Source Inspector Job type: Contract and Permanent Opportunities Location:Belfast Salary: Competitive We are working with a global engineering consultancy supporting major aerospace programmes worldwide. They are currently seeking experienced Aircraft Source Inspectors to support a final assembly programme, ensuring supplier parts and assemblies meet strict quality and regulatory standards. These opportunities are available either as: Contract (initial duration 6 months, likely extending up to 2 years) Permanent employment Key Responsibilities Perform in-process and final source inspections at supplier facilities Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and PO requirements Interpret GD&T and aerospace technical documentation Ensure adherence to AS9100, FAA, and customer quality standards Raise and support NCRs, including root cause analysis and corrective actions Document inspection results and communicate findings clearly Experience Required Proven background in aerospace manufacturing and inspection, ideally airframe or fuselage Strong understanding of engineering drawings and precision measurement tools Knowledge of AS9100 / aerospace quality systems Experience in supplier quality or source inspection environments What's on Offer Competitive salary / outside IR35 contract rate Long-term programme stability with potential extensions Exposure to high-profile aerospace projects Supportive, professional, and quality-driven environment If this looks interesting to you, please apply below or contact me directly.
