We are looking for a dedicated Support Practitioner to join our team at Angus Court in Portlethen on a permanent basis, offering 16, 20, 25, 30 or 39 hours per week.
Overview
Angus Court is a busy housing support service. In this role, you will be part of a friendly team supporting seven individuals with varying needs. Your main aim will be assisting with day-to-day tasks and enabling participation in people’s hobbies and interests.
Responsibilities
* Support individuals with day-to-day needs including shopping, finances, cooking, appointments, personal care and housework
* Encourage and participate in hobbies and social activities (e.g., socialising, bowling, arts & crafts, soaps, going to discos)
* Adhere to routines and guidelines to support consistent care
About You / Qualifications
Ideally you will have experience in a caring and supportive role. You will receive robust training and have a helpful team behind you. You should understand the importance of routines and guidelines.

We will fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees, and you will be paid for your training.
Location & Travel
Due to the location of our service, please ensure you can travel to Portlethen. A driver with access to your own vehicle is preferred due to limited public transport links that fit shift patterns.
Shift Patterns
We provide around-the-clock support tailored to individual needs, including weekends and public holidays. Typical shifts run between 08:00 and 22:00 and may include weekends, public holidays, and sleepovers on a rotational basis. Sleepovers are paid separately at £100.80 per night worked.

Other Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and work towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with support from our Training Academy. You will need to register with the SSSC within 3 months of starting employment.
