Life Education Wessex & Thames Valley is an independent, self-supporting charity that partners with schools across Wessex and the Thames Valley. We are a delivery partner of Coram Life Education, the leading charity provider of relationships, health, wellbeing, and drugs education to nearly half a million children across the UK. Our specially trained Educators use interactive and creative methods to engage children aged 3 to 13 years, delivering memorable life skills workshops. We also offer "SCARF Live Online" virtual workshops, with content designed to meet all DfE requirements for statutory Relationships and Health Education in primary schools.
Role Description
This is a part time (term time only) position covering the geographical area of Hampshire/North Hampshire/Oxfordshire. The Educator will deliver engaging and age-appropriate workshops in Primary Schools. Day-to-day tasks include delivering lessons, teaching various health and wellbeing topics, using creative methods to stimulate curiosity, and fostering discussions and group activities. The Educator will also manage resources and materials, and work collaboratively with school staff to ensure the effective delivery of the SCARF framework.
Qualifications
* Strong Communication and Teaching skills
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to engage and inspire young children
* Degree in Education or related field is preferred
* Experience in educational settings is a plus
