Control Engineer Nottingham Up to 70k The Role My client is seeking an experienced Control Engineer to join their high performance team and after 1-2 years in the UK, relocate to the US to lead the build out an Engineering team in North America. Key Responsibilities Designing, configuring and, commissioning control systems Communicating with customers and translating their requirements into functional design specifications Testing, debugging, and performance tuning Maintaining and supporting existing systems Collaborating with team members and stakeholders Out-of-hours support (evenings and weekends, after probationary period) On-site commissioning work (typically during the week and in the UK but including weekends and overseas) After 1-2 years, relocating to the US to establish, train, and build out a permanent engineering presence on the North American continent Experience: Have 7 years of experience configuring and commissioning control systems Demonstrate familiarity with SCADA systems Be available for on-site commissioning work (mainly UK, occasional overseas) Be willing to work from the Nottingham office five days per week for the first 1-2 years and then relocate to the US to build an Engineering team in North America Hold a full UK driving licence Desirable Skills PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens or Mitsubishi) Electrical engineering experience Knowledge of Windows Server and PCs Additional programming experience (specifically C, C++, or C#) SQL Server database Experience in the feed and grain industry
