Our clients span a wide range of sectors, including: Aerospace | Automotive | Oil & Gas | Defence | Nuclear | energy With modern facilities and a strong reputation for quality, we pride ourselves on investing in both our technology and our people. ________________________________________ What You'll Be Doing Set and operate CNC milling machines (HAAS DT1, HAAS DM2, XYZ 1510/1020 with Siemens 828D) Machine a variety of precision components to tight tolerances Interpret and work from technical/engineering drawings Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment (e.g., Vernier calipers, micrometers) Set datums using tools like Renishaw probe, wobble edge finder, or 3D taster Record production data and ensure consistent quality and safety standards Carry out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping ________________________________________ What Were Looking For Proven experience setting and operating CNC milling machines Comfortable making minor code edits and understanding CNC programs Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings Skilled with inspection and measuring tools Proactive, quality-focused, and able to work independently Programming experience is not essential but a working knowledge of G-code and CNC logic is a strong advantage. ________________________________________ Hours & Benefits Working Hours: MondayThursday: 8:00am 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am 1:30pm (Early finish!) 37.5 hours per week Rotating shift pattern may apply Benefits: Competitive salary (DOE) 23 days holiday bank holidays Free on-site parking Complimentary hot drinks Workplace pension scheme A friendly, supportive team culture ________________________________________ Why Join Us?
