GSL Education are looking for enthusiastic Teachers to join schools in Bexhill. This role allows you to deliver high-quality teaching, support pupils’ academic and personal development, and help create an inclusive classroom atmosphere.
About the Role:
As a Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons across your subject area, assessing pupil progress, and tailoring support to individual learning needs. You will work collaboratively with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure all pupils have the opportunity to succeed.
Responsibilities of a Teacher:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the curriculum.
* Maintain an engaging and inclusive learning environment.
* Monitor pupils’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
* Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
* Manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive conduct.
* Collaborate with colleagues and parents to meet pupils’ needs.
* Prepare teaching materials and resources as required.
* Support extracurricular activities and school events.
* Promote pupil independence, confidence, and self-motivation.
* Participate in ongoing professional development.
Essential Requirements for a Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching in a UK school or similar setting.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills.
* A proactive, enthusiastic, and supportive approach to teaching.
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
* Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years, barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
