Housing Assistant (Income)
1x permanent position available with a competitive pay and benefits package including a starting salary of £27,332 per annum, rising to £29,805 per annum after key competencies of the role are met.
We’re looking for a proactive and organised Income Assistant to join our team. You'll support the Income section managing a caseload of rent accounts, contacting tenants about their rent account, how to pay and discussing rent and arrears repayment plans. You will be providing excellent customer service to help residents sustain their tenancies in line with our Income recovery procedure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with rent collection and arrears management
2. Maintain accurate records and update rent accounts
3. Communicate with tenants via phone, email, and letter
4. Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to support income recovery
Reporting to Team Leader, this role is responsible for providing practical and hands on housing management assistance to contract holders to enable them to manage the terms and conditions of their agreements.
To be successful in the role of Housing Assistant our new team member will be educated to Level 2/HNC in a relevant qualification or equivalent experience.
The successful candidate will also require a satisfactory DBS check upon appointment.
