National Field Sales Manager - Automotive / Industrial
Accelerating our sales and strengthening our team. We are seeking an additional Senior Sales Leader, ready to accelerate sales performance through the cross-functional Field Sales team for an organisation proactive within multi-channelled, tiered supply routes across Industrial, MRO, Engineering and Automotive, Aftermarket, trade Distribution Channels.
Career trajectory opportunity: This role offers genuine career trajectory into possibly a GSM / Sales Director type remit, based upon performance, and you will enjoy steering sales activity across multi-functional channels, enabling you to understand all facets of the markets which they serve and potentially develop in the future.
Ideal Location - Central / South
Salary: negotiable (£60k - £75k OTE) + Bonus + Car + Pension
Responsibilities
* Lead and accelerate sales performance through the Field Sales team across multi-channel supply networks, including Industrial, MRO, Engineering and Automotive sectors.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth and ensure delivery against sales plans.
* Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market presence in Industrial, Engineering, Automotive and related channels.
* Mentor and improve individual performance by working to a Sales Plan and coaching the team to hit targets.
* Manage relationships with key decision makers and influence strategic outcomes through strong account management.
* Maintain high standards of IT literacy, including presentations and analytical capabilities via Microsoft Excel.
* Travel and overnight stays as required to meet business objectives.
Qualifications
* Senior field-based Sales Management experience or highly sales-driven environment, ideally within Industrial MRO, Engineering or Automotive spaces.
* Structured Sales Leader with a proven track record of hitting sales targets and delivering results through the sales team.
* Ability to mentor and improve individual performance, working to a Sales Plan.
* Solid Sales Skills and Key Account Management abilities capable of influencing decision makers.
* Strong IT literacy, including presentations and data analysis in Microsoft Excel.
* Professional demeanor with strong integrity with customers and stakeholders.
* Highly organized with a solid work ethic and tenacious task approach.
