Index Research Analyst as part of a collaborative team, with a focus on index rebalancing.

Open to candidates in Europe, London preferred.
Principal Responsibilities
* Working alongside the trading and research team with a focus on US, EMEA and Asia Indices.
* Performing primary research from company reports and research shareholding structure to build accurate predictions of index events.
* Identifying signals and generating ideas to contribute to the overall team strategy.
* Interpreting index methodologies.
Preferred Technical Skills
* Strong research and programming skills
* High attention to detail.
* Experience in Excel, Python and SQL
Preferred Experience
* 2-5 years of experience as a Researcher or Quantitative Researcher in an Index Rebalancing environment
* Demonstrated track record of working with filings and key information documents on global companies.
* Demonstrated understanding of equity index methodologies.
