Your new role
We are looking for a dedicated and organised Assistant Local Housing Manager to join our Retirement Living team. This customer-facing role supports the Local Housing Manager in delivering high-quality housing and support service to residents, ensuring they can live independently in a safe and weing environment.No two days are the same – you’ll assist withpliance checks, repairs, budgeting, andmunity engagement, while helping to create a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere for residents.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist with health & safety checks,pliance audits, and record-keeping.
2. Support reactive repairs and planned maintenance projects.
3. Help manage void properties and ensure timely allocation.
4. Organise events and activities to reduce social isolation and promotemunity engagement.
5. Respond to anti-social behaviour,plaints, and safeguarding concerns in line with policy.
6. Maintain accurate records and ensure GDPRpliance.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Excellentmunication and organisational skills.
8. Experience in social housing or working with older people (desirable).
9. Ability to manage priorities and remain calm under pressure.
10. Enhanced DBS clearance required.
