Protocol Education are currently recruiting a PMLD Support Assistant to work within a specialist SEND school supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
Many pupils within the provision have complex medical, sensory and physical needs, requiring highly personalised support throughout the school day.
The role may include:
• Supporting pupils with sensory learning activities
• Assisting with specialist equipment and mobility support
• Supporting pupils with communication and interaction
• Assisting with personal care where required
The school is looking for candidates who are compassionate, patient and committed to supporting pupils with complex needs.
Applicants should hold a DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a DBS through Protocol Education if necessary.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
