Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team level 2 or 3 an advantage, would consider unqualified if has previous experience working in a childcare setting.The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a commitment to fostering their development in a nurturing environment. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, and a genuine interest in early childhood education, we are a pack away setting so must be fit in body and mind.
Duties
* Assist in the daily care and supervision of children in the nursery setting.
* Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well-being.
* Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
* Help manage children's behaviour in a positive manner, promoting social skills and emotional development.
* Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience working with children is essential; nursery experience is highly desirable.
* A background in early childhood education or childcare is preferred.
* Strong management and leadership skills to support team dynamics.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
* A valid driving licence may be advantageous for transportation purposes.
