Are you ready to step into a Service Manager – Quality Assurance role where you will directly influence the quality and impact of children’s social care? You will take ownership of a critical function, leading on quality assurance activity, shaping practice improvements, and playing a key role in inspection readiness. As a Service Manager – Quality Assurance, you will lead on audits, drive learning into practice, and ensure the service is consistently improving and inspection‑ready. You will be central to strengthening standards and embedding a strong culture of continuous improvement.
Your role as Service Manager – Quality Assurance:
* Lead monthly practice audits and thematic reviews to drive insight
* Identify key learning and ensure it is embedded into frontline practice
* Facilitate learning forums to “close the loop” on improvements
* Support Ofsted preparation and monitor visit readiness
* Drive practice improvement initiatives across the wider QA service
Your previous experience as Service Manager – Quality Assurance:
* Strong background in children’s social care quality assurance
* Proven experience leading audit frameworks and improvement plans
* Confidence in Ofsted preparation and inspection support
* Ability to translate learning into tangible practice improvements
* Experience working at a senior level within a local authority setting
