Principal Electrical Engineer – Building Services

Role Overview
Principle Electrical Engineer, you will lead multidisciplinary (MEP) engineering projects from start to finish, positively engaging with the client and supporting them in achieving their goals. You will lead all aspects of the project, including project team, deliverables, resourcing, programme and budget, to deliver high‑quality outputs for our clients. We are excited to see you develop and oversee electrical concepts and design solutions, then manage a project team to deliver detailed design to required standards, producing required design calculations.
Responsibilities
* Lead multidisciplinary MEP engineering projects from initiation to completion, including team management, deliverables, resourcing, programme and budget control.
* Develop and oversee electrical concepts and design solutions, ensuring compliance with required standards and producing detailed design calculations.
* Developing and mentoring junior engineers, including supporting chartership routes.
* Contribute to innovation, process improvement, and technical excellence initiatives.
* Assist with aspects of team management, supporting activities such as resource planning, line management and quality assurance.
Qualifications
* A relevant qualification (Bachelor's or Master's).
* Proven background in Building Services design, gained from working in a consultancy business.
* Working across multiple sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial, residential and/or industrial.
* Proficiency with BIM processes, including Revit and Amtech.
* Chartered Engineer status or progress towards it.
