Are you ready to take the next step in your civil engineering career? We're on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineering Technician to join our client's growing Civil/Infrastructure Engineering team in Solent.

What You'll Be Doing:
As a Civil Engineering Technician, you will:
* Assist in the preparation of civil engineering drawings and designs.
* Support project teams on development infrastructure
* Produce detailed 2D CAD drawings for highways, drainage, and public realm works.
* Work from sketches, mark-ups, and technical specifications to deliver high-quality outputs.
* Assist with Section 38 and 278 drawings for planning, tender, and construction.
* Collaborate with engineers to deliver innovative and practical design solutions.
What We're Looking For:
* BTEC/HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related subject.
* Relevant work experience in a consultancy or private sector environment.
* Good working knowledge of AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
* Familiarity with UK design guidance (e.g. Manual for Streets, DMRB, Local Authority Standards).
* Experience or interest in highway design (training provided where necessary).
* Knowledge of 3D design tools such as Site 3D or Civil 3D is a plus (training available).
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage your own workload.
* A team player who's keen to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities.
