We are seeking to appoint a Teacher of A level Mathematics, with the opportunity to take on Course Leader responsibility for Statistics for the right candidate. The Mathematics department supports over 800 A level students, including many of our highest-achieving learners. A significant proportion progress to highly competitive university courses and degree apprenticeships, including Engineering, Medicine and Economics. The department also delivers GCSE Mathematics to over 600 vocational students resitting the qualification as part of their study programme.
The teaching role is well suited to an experienced and effective teacher with a strong track record in delivering A level Mathematics and/or Statistics, ideally within a school or college setting.
The additional responsibility of Course Leader for Statistics would suit an experienced and successful A level Statistics teacher seeking the opportunity to lead curriculum delivery and quality. The postholder will play a key role in shaping an outstanding learner experience, ensuring high standards of teaching, strong outcomes and that all students are supported to achieve their full potential.
