Vickerstock are working in partnership with a Retail & Wholesale business on the appointment of a Stores and Stock Manager on a full-time permanent basis. As the Stores and Stock Manager, you will work in a varied position dealing with customers from the public, processing orders, communicating with different key accounts, and most importantly overseeing stock control and availability. In your new role: Oversee daily store operations and manage the shop floor Deliver excellent customer service to both trade and retail customers Manage stock, deliveries, and customer orders Utilise stock control and invoicing systems, as well as email communications Work as a team and support other staff members Build and maintain relationships with suppliers What you will need to succeed: Previous retail experience is essential; store or floor management experience is highly desirable Strong organisational skills and reliability Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach Competent in computer use, including MS Office and stock systems For a confidential conversation on how Vickerstock can help support you with your next move, get in touch with Michael Irwin today!
