Complex Trauma Home | Full Time | £12.75 per hour We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate Childrens Residential Support Worker (Nights) to join a specialist complex trauma home supporting young people aged 715. All young people in the home have learning disabilities and severe additional needs. While behavioural needs are minimal, the role involves providing consistent, high-quality care and support throughout the night. About the Role Night shifts: 10:00pm 8:00am Full-time position: 4 shifts per week Supportingyoung people in a residential setting Majority of nights are settled, with young people typically sleeping through This is a hands-on care role requiring patience, empathyand a nurturing approach. Key Responsibilities Providing personal care, including: Toileting support (including pad/nappy changing and continence care) Bathing/showering assistance Dressing and undressing Brushing teeth and general hygiene support Assisting with feeding where required Administering medication (following training and protocols) Supporting moving and handling needs Ensuring the safety, wellbeingand dignity of all young people Completing accurate records and handovers Maintaining a calm and structured environment overnight Requirements Minimum age: 22 years old Minimum 6 months experience in residential care Full UK manual driving licence (essential) Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one we can process this) Ability to work independently and remain calm in a care setting What We Offer £12.75 per hour Full-time contracted hours Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development Full support to complete the Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare Opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young peoples lives If you are committed to providing high-quality, person-centred care and want to grow your career in residential childcare, we would love to hear from you.
