What is the role?
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator for our Girls Academy, working closely with the Academy Manager to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality running of the PGA (Professional Game Academy). This role plays a vital part in supporting all departments to deliver a positive and successful programme that upholds the highest standards.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will support the Academy Manager and the Head of Women & Girls Football Operations & Administration in meeting all audit requirements for both the PGA and ETC, helping to maintain our Girls Academy Category 1 status. You will attend all necessary FA and PGA operational meetings and provide additional assistance to the Head of Football Operations & Administration as required.
You will be responsible for planning and coordinating weekly and monthly schedules, ensuring PGA schedules, training and matchday logistics are communicated effectively to all players and staff within the programme.
You will manage the logistics of all home and away matches, including the research and coordination of travel and accommodation, whilst making sure we work within budget, safeguarding as well as health and safety requirements, and maintaining effective communication with players, staff and all other relevant parties (opposition, match officials, transport providers ect).
Additionally, you will complete all Girls Academy player registrations, team affiliations and other league or FA-related requirements, ensuring all teams within the Girls Academy and PGA can fulfil all fixtures across club and league competitions.

We are looking for someone who has a high level of organisational skills and experience working within a team environment, maintaining clarity in busy situations and using a flexible approach.
The ideal candidate will possess a good knowledge of audit processes and meticulous record-keeping while keeping to a deadline as well as a strong understanding of confidentiality.
