To provide efficient, high quality support to internal and external customers and working partners. The Business Services team (of 6 members) is part of the Business Services Division that also consists of Account Management, Client Reporting and Data Management. Business Services manage client setup, renewal, liaison, administration and reporting. We provide a core service to other parts of the business predominately Claims Operations, Finance, Sales and our dedicated Client Managers How you'll make an impact To assist in new and renewed set-up of clients using in-house systems, predominantly Risx-Facs, CARAT and Luminos. To oversee the set up and maintenance of client organisational charts (pyramids) To act as key contact for designated clients To become competent in the use of GB applications, supporting colleagues and clients To be involved in the design and delivery of new client procedures, processes and reports To prepare, produce and track client notice of sale/billing requirements To influence and establish best practice within the Support Services team and wider division To handle complex queries from internal and external parties To play a key role in ensuring that SLA’s are met Training Clients on our claims systems. Participate as required in team, division and wider company projects and initiatives i.e. Quality (efficiencies and improvements) Committee and Service Excellence forums Work with National Branch Managers and Team Leaders to ensure service levels are achieved Work with our Sales Team and Dedicated Client Managers, attending internal meetings and Client meetings on an occasional basis as may be required. To provide assistance in other areas of the Company’s business as may be required or of particular personal interest About you Knowledge Required: Basic understanding and knowledge of FSA rules and guidelines relating to commercial and private customers Moderate understanding and knowledge of general insurance and underlying legal principles Experience and exposure working in the insurance industry Reading and understanding policies, including excesses and aggregates Insurance qualifications would be adventurous Skills Required: Ability to prioritise and organise own workload to ensure that deadlines are adhered to Ability to work under pressure and without supervision Ability to liaise with colleagues, working as a team Ability to develop and sustain relationships with both internal and external customers Ability to construct effective written communications, including letters and reports.
