Multi-Site Transport Manager – South West
Location: Covering sites across Cornwall, Devon, Exeter, and South Wales (You will need to be based along the M5 corridor)
Salary: £48-55,000 + company vehicle + performance-based bonus

We are supporting a leading company in finding a Multi-Site Transport Manager to oversee operations across key South West sites. This role focuses on transport management with an emphasis on compliance, driver oversight, and vehicle safety.
The Role:
As the Transport Manager, you will provide leadership across four locations, overseeing a fleet including flatbed 14-tonne vehicles and small 44-tonne articulated lorries. You will ensure all operations meet Operator Licence (O-Licence) requirements and exceed DVSA compliance standards. This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring regular presence on locations within the coverage area.
Core Responsibilities:
* Ensuring full O-Licence compliance, including tachograph management, driver hours, WTD, and vehicle maintenance.
* Engaging with professional drivers operating 7 days a week (early starts, no nights).
* Liaising with workshops for vehicle safety, LOLER checks, and maintenance schedules.
* Conducting driver debriefs to ensure accountability and legal adherence.
* Preparing for audits to ensure sites are inspection-ready.
* Collaborating with planners to adhere to delivery schedules.
* Managing fleet safety and reliability by working with vehicle maintenance providers to minimise downtime.
What We’re Looking For:
Must have:
* National CPC (International CPC also welcome).
* ADR certificate or experience with hazardous goods.
* Proven experience as a Transport Manager, ideally across multiple sites.
* Deep understanding of O-Licence regulations and DVSA compliance.
* Strong driver engagement skills to motivate and support drivers.
* Formal safety qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with fleet systems like TrakM8 and TruTac.
* Experience managing multi-drop operations.
* Background in regulated or high-compliance industries.
